Experiencing emotionally immature parents is more common than people think. Disney’s movie, Turning Red, is an example of how that shows up for Asians. Perhaps your experience was exactly like Mei’s, or maybe only some elements felt similar. Maybe none of it resonated! Regardless, there is a strong need in healing from emotionally immature parents.

I’m ready for lasting change
Starting therapy can feel scary, and that’s completely okay. It takes courage to step into the unknown and face what’s been weighing on you. Know that you don’t have to have all the answers or the right words—just showing up is enough. This is a space where you are seen, heard, and supported without judgment. Growth isn’t about perfection; it’s about allowing yourself to be real, to heal, and to move forward at your own pace. You are not alone in this—I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
